A Letter From the Secretary-General

Dear Advisors, Delegates, Parents, and Distinguished Guests,

It is with immense excitement that I invite you to join us for CLAWMUN 2025, hosted in Enumclaw, Washington! As we return for our second year, we reflect on the incredible journey CLAWMUN has taken and the growth we’ve experienced since our inaugural conference. 

CLAWMUN was born from the mission to expand the MUN scene beyond Western Washington, a region where MUN has dominated, into King County and Eastern Washington. While this goal remains at the heart of our mission, we are proud to say that CLAWMUN has successfully brought together delegates from across the state, especially from areas that have previously been underrepresented in Model UN. The enthusiasm and growth from the Eastern Washington schools have been nothing short of inspiring. 

Our first conference in 2024 at Enumclaw HS was a huge success, with 40+ delegates and ~20 staff members. Since then, we have expanded our reach, made a name for ourselves in the MUN community, and formed strong collaborations with schools to help grow and elevate the conference. For 2026, we are thrilled to have over 30 staffers and a growing delegation base, setting our sights high with an exciting roster of delegates.

Whether it’s tackling human rights issues in the UNHRC or transporting back to the tumultuous moments following the Bolshevik Revolution, CLAWMUN 2026 promises to offer a diverse and engaging experience for every delegate.

We are eager to continue this journey of growth, learning, and global cooperation with all of you, and we can’t wait to make this year’s conference a memorable one. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to CLAWMUN 2026!
